Description

Due to my baby having reflux and often being sick during the night, the bag has been washed several times and the material has maintained its good quality (no fading or bobbling) and it dries very quickly. The Grosnug allows you to swaddle arms in or out for a great night's sleep and is the only bedding you'll need for your newborn. With offices in Exeter, Shenzhen and Melbourne they are a global business that always strives to put their consumers first.

One of the features I loved about it was that although it could be used to swaddle it could also be used as a baby sleeping bag by undoing the poppers on the side. The product has press studs sealing in the arms at the top, and can be changed to arms out when required.

She also had a tendency to wake herself up with flailing arms, so having them neatly tucked away led to a better nights sleep for all of us! I've only heard great things about Gro Snug so may well have an Xmas pressie all sorted now – thank you! O was a winter baby and I probably worried less about him being cold than I did about G being too hot. I knew we had to find a solution and something safer than just placing him with a blanket over him instead (where he could get the blanket over his mouth/face etc by accident) and when I went to purchase sleeping bags for him instead believing that would be the safe answer – I was surprised to see that really there was none on the market suitable generally.

This is what makes the Gro Snug such a great bag because instead of having to put it in the cupboards along with the other things that baby doesn’t like I could just undo the poppers and make it into a sleeping bag with G’s arms free. It’s a very simple concept product as with most Gro Company products – you can simply zip the newborn into the sleeping bag for naps or bedtime as you would with any other sleeping bag for older children; however, it also includes the ingenious poppers at the arm slots that you can close up and use as a swaddle bag as well. Unique seams on the front give ample space for a natural froggy legged sleeping position while poppers on the armholes allow for swaddling with arms in or arms out for the freedom of a newborn Grobag.

The Gro Company was founded in 2000, the result of two parents’ battle to get their baby to sleep at night. Extremely easy to use with no folding needed and a long zip that opens from the bottom for nappy changes. You could slow it down by doing one at a time but we thought that our LG would just fidget even more. I didn't like the fact that the zip started just underneath baby's chin, it was a very snug fit and it made me feel nervous that it would be too tight around her neck especially after wriggling in the night. Elenya: I struggled greatly at first getting baby into the Grosnug comfortably and with little hassle.
